Machine Learning with Spark on AWS
Spark is now the preferred platform for Big Data. It provides a rich and easy to use set of libraries for common machine learning techniques like Classification, Clustering, Logistic Regression etc.
In this workshop, we will demonstrate how to set up Spark and Python on a standalone desktop to test and debug programs. We will further demonstrate how the programs can be executed on a Amazon Web Services cluster consisting of one master and one slave node using data stored in the Amazon S3 storage services. The workshop is intended to help delegates to be able to run machine learning programs with Spark & Python on AWS.
